5 things to do in Maafushi, Maldives
This is the most popular local island in the Maldives for tourism, find out 5 things you can do.

1. Snorkeling with Sharks (it's safe!)
This is easily the number one thing we would recommend while staying at Maafushi; you take a speedboat and sail south for about 30 minutes to Vaavu Atoll where nurse sharks reside. These popular boat tours let you snorkel with them in a safe environment with supervision by experienced snorkeling guides.
Look but don't touch! While nurse sharks are generally safe to snorkel with and they are not interested in humans (or human sized fish) for food, they have strong jaws and might show you the strength of them if you get too touchy with them.

2. The Floating Supercar (The Jet Car Experience)
If you want to break the internet (or at least your Instagram), you need to try the Jet Car. Imagine a bright yellow Lamborghini, but instead of the city, it’s gliding over a turquoise lagoon.
It’s fast, it’s flashy, and it’s pure fun. Let us know to capture the full vibes, and we’ll arrange a drone to follow you, capturing the contrast of the sleek car against the endless blue. It’s the ultimate "I’m in the Maldives" flex.

3. Sandbank Trips; a patch of sand surrounded by the ocean
In our opinion, photos or videos don't really do it justice - it's a feeling of complete peace, totally surrounded by blue. It looks great for Instagram too.
We set up a shaded canopy, serve a fresh lunch, and let you just be. It’s the quietest, most peaceful version of the Maldives you’ll ever find.

4. Catch & Cook (Sunset Fishing)
Fishing isn't just a hobby here; it’s our history. You’ll head out on a traditional boat, use hand-lines (it’s harder than it looks!), and watch the sky turn into a palette of purples and oranges.
The best part? Bringing your catch back to the island for our chefs to cook it for you. There’s no better meal than the one you caught yourself.

5. The "Best of Both Worlds" (Resort Day Visit)
This one is for those who don't want to commit to the luxurious stay, but want to see it anyway. Resort Day Visits. You get to stay in the lively, affordable heart of Maafushi and you take a day trip to a nearby resort with access to the amazing in-house facilities of the resort property.
We’ll book you a speedboat to a nearby resort to spend the day. You get the luxury vibes, the "expensive" views, and the buffet lunch, but you come home to the local charm of Maafushi by night.
